WORK PHILOSOPHY

The essence to which I work, and any work is done by me, is epitomized in one word alone: Efficiency. Having spent years and decades honing skills in my area of expertise (Literature and the Liberal Arts, broadly speaking), this journey has led me to take on a wide range of topics that have broadened my understanding of the world and the relationships among industries. Consequently, a broad range of knowledge can only be put to use to create Efficiency, because a wide range of topics enlists in the mind, a wide range of possibilities, which can all be handled efficiently and unexpectedly, because much was initially considered when studying/learning.

I strive to create and live in an Efficient society, which can be beneficial not only to the business but to fellow workers as well. What is put to use can be gained from; this is the epitome of my efficiency belief, that if you do whatever you do well, you will earn a reward. And rewards can be far-reaching from even beyond the scope of the industry one works in.

My experience as a Dispatcher taught me not only efficiency in customer service, but also in reading maps and providing geographical information to both co-workers and customers alike. I now apply this when engaging in discussions and debates about traveling the world and geopolitical bridges. My experience as an event security personnel has not only taught me to be alert in all situations, but also to be people-friendly and socially reassuring, as safety is found not only in the physical perimeter of an environment, but also in the mental state of those expected to be safe.

My experience as a student in a Literary class (small class size) has endowed me with the ability to give feedback that challenges as well as enhances the performance of my fellow students. Put this to practice in a workforce,  and it creates a competitive workforce that produces the best possible results because co-workers push one another to excellence.

The inevitability of doing anything well is that more will always be gained from it than first assumed or imagined. As such, I strive to be excellent and proficient in anything I do, not because I want to be the best among my peers, but because I desire the experience of chasing greatness. Of going on a journey. It opens up another world. And this is what I can add to any industry or business I work in. An unending travel into the imagined and the possible, because I will always strive to know more through excellence.
